Reiki level 1 training - full day - Saturday 1st November 2025
Next date: Saturday 1st November, 2025
One-day training (in-person) 10am - 5pm, at The Honeybee Sanctuary in central North Berwick.
Reiki Level I is for many people an exciting and wonderful beginning. Reiki training invites you to:
Notice energy in everyday life,
Become aware of what affects or changes your connection with life energy, and
Learn techniques for nurturing and connecting with your energy for self-healing.
For others, Reiki level 1 is a refresher — every time you explore Reiki gathered with others you’ll pick up on something different, something you need at that particular time. Or maybe Reiki training acknowledges something about energy you’ve had a feeling about all along.
This is a course for beginners, and those who know the value of a beginners’ mind.
It might be where your journey begins, or a way for it to continue.
In the Japanese system of Reiki, this first level is called Shoden which means ‘first teachings’. These are the first teachings of the System of Usui Reiki. In this practical beginner course, you will learn how to help your-self with a daily healing practice and how you can help your friends and family using foundational energy healing techniques.
Whether you're looking for a way to relax, manage stress, or connect more deeply with yourself and others, Reiki offers a path to peace and holistic well-being. It is simple and accessible to practice, anyone can do it.
During the course, you will learn:
History of Usui Reiki;
The Usui Reiki System;
What Reiki is and how to use it in daily life;
How to practice Reiki yourself, your family, and friends, a tool for everyday self-care;
Other ways of using Reiki;
Receive Reiki Level I attunement;
Receive a comprehensive manual and certificate of completion.
Receive access to resources to support your own practice beyond the training day. Your Reiki journey continues beyond the training day - as part of your ongoing support, you’ll have access to:
Reiki meditations and tutorials;
Invitations to our Reiki share groups;
Continued email support from your Reiki Master
You will be learning in a small group of up to 6 people with me, Liz Thomas, a Reiki III (Shinpiden, or ‘Master’ level practitioner). I am working through a process of Reiki Teacher Training, and this training day is offered after my observed Reiki I course has been delivered and reviewed. Keep in touch as I work on my course material for levels 2 and 3!
You’re warmly invited to get in touch with me to ask any questions: liz@thehoneybeesanctuary.org
CANCELLATION POLICY: Cancellations made 14 days or more before the event date will receive a 100% refund. Cancellations made less than 14 days before the event may not receive a refund, but it can be used to attend the next available training day
