home & seasonal herbalism

A warm and friendly welcome awaits you here in the apothecary kitchen & garden; I love these 1:1 sessions where we go with the flow, led by the seasonal herbs which present themselves! Come with a specific interest, or just lean in to the wisdom of the plants themselves.

Seasonal herbalism 1:1s

Each season I run a series of classes, usually an evening a week for 3/4 weeks, exploring remedies and recipes using natural ingredients and useful plants - this is home, bioregional, community herbalism.

We come together to make remedies which support mind and body, connecting with likeminded, like-hearted souls. It’s relaxed, gentle, nurturing, fun and fulfilling!

Seasonal class series

If you have a group of friends who’d be interested in a bespoke workshop for a celebration or to spend some time together doing something a bit different, I can work with you to plan content to your interests. Always with lots of seasonal tastes, teas and a selection of herbal remedies to take home - an all-natural ‘party bag’ !

Private group workshops

Herb club runs on a Thursday / Friday after school club during term time. We delve into one plant each week and make recipes, remedies and creative crafty projects. We explore and learn about the uses and benefits of a range of accessible, family-friendly plants with purpose.

Flora & Fauna Club

Bookable on the online shop, these holiday herbalism workshops are held here at The Honeybee Sanctuary in a 5m Star Tent in the garden. Children learn about useful plants throughout the seasons in a fun, relaxed, creative and inclusive setting.

Kids’ Herbalism holiday workshops

I plan and deliver workshops for Home Educators, networks and groups, and I would be delighted to host your group if you’re looking for something a bit different for your home educated children.

Please contact me to make arrangements for dates and seasonal themes to explore. Prices typically £15/pp for a 1.5 hour workshop with remedies to take home and printed notes.

Herbal Home-Ed

Over the 5 years we’ve been nurturing our garden, we’ve excavated 21sqm of tarmac, planted wildflowers and a native woodland copse, removed invasive non-natives, maintained hedgerows for biodiversity, created 3 ponds, and planted 14 fruiting trees. We’ve layered in plant species for all the seasons, celebrating local providence and bio-diversity. We think it gets better every year; this place now thrums with wildlife and a therapeutic energy.

For medicine, peace, connection, meditation and healing.

This is my sanctuary, and a place to share inspiration and healing.
