Reiki & Remedies Workshop Waiver Agreement & Cancellation Policy

Thank you so much for choosing The Honeybee Sanctuary to learn about and be inspired by holistic practices in Reiki and Home Herbalism. I ask you to review and sign the form below, entering your name to show agreement to the policy and consent waiver, either for yourself or on behalf of your child.

Waiver agreement:

  • Liz will be the only adult leading this workshop. She holds a PVG Scheme Membership Statement certificate with Disclosure Scotland in respect of regulated work with children, and is not barred from this regulated work (PVG membership number 1707 3104 3044 0352). Please get in touch with Liz (liz@thehoneybeesanctuary.org) if you have any concerns or questions regarding Child Protection and Safeguarding.

  • Liz is insured with BGi.uk, through Foyht membership as Liz Thomas t/a The Honeybee Sanctuary, for carrying out activities in Herbalism, Reiki and Horticultural Therapy. Included are Products Liability, Public Liability, and Professional Indemnity & Malpractice. Certificates and details are available on request.

  • Liz is the emergency contact, available throughout the running time of the workshop on 07814662328.

  • It is your responsibility to inform Liz of any medical condition/s which may be relevant to your safe participation or general health and safety during the workshop. Please inform Liz in advance of any medication the participant is taking and any medical conditions. This information will not be held digitally, however may be kept at your request for future workshops or Honeybee Sanctuary events.

  • The workshop is provided as a Community Herbalism activity, and the advice and information provided is based on traditional, commonly accepted and well-established herbal information. It is for education purposes only and not intended as medical advice. The workshop is intended to inspire and educate, and by purchasing this workshop you confirm you are attending on this basis.

  • For events or workshops held at The Honeybee Sanctuary workshop, a setting and activities risk assessment is available to review upon request, and a copy will available throughout the workshop.

Cancellation Policy:

Please note that once you have booked a place it is reserved for you. If you cancel your place less than 48 hours before the workshop is scheduled to take place, you will be charged the full amount of the session and a refund will not be possible. To enable another participant to book, it is appreciated if you provide cancellation notice at least 48 hours prior to the workshop start time via email at liz@thehoneybeesanctuary.org

I hereby certify that I have read this document and I understand its content. I am aware that this is a release of liability as well as a contract and I sign it of my own free will.

By signing this I confirm I feel safe and comfortable for Liz Thomas to lead the workshop / class / session I have booked.
