Okuden is a Japanese word meaning "inner teachings." As the name suggests, this course provides a deeper understanding and connection to the teachings of Usui Mikao. Using traditional Japanese principles, students learn how to connect with both Earth and Heaven energies, marking the first steps toward full integration with the universe. This connection is developed through the practice of symbols and mantras. For those interested in becoming professional Reiki practitioners, this level also offers the necessary foundation. The prerequisite for this course is the completion of Reiki Level I, with at least 21 days of self-treatment before beginning Reiki Level II. The time frame may vary depending on the student’s experience and readiness.
Or maybe Reiki training acknowledges something about energy you’ve had a feeling about all along, and you have questions or an intuition you’d like to explore. It might be where your journey begins, or a way for it to continue.
This is a course for beginners, and those who know the value of a beginners’ mind.
I teach the traditional, foundational system of Usui Reiki Ryōhō… and I'll weave in a little bit of herbalism, as is my way. Reiki teachings, tools and techniques, complemented with herbal remedy making to support practices for self discovery, self healing and connection with life enery.

During the course, you will learn:
Review of the structure of the Usui Reiki System;
Reiki II Symbols and Their Meaning & Mantras The use of symbols Reiki Level II attunements Distant Healing Meditation and mantras chanting using the symbols Becoming a Practitioner Requirements for Reiki II Certification Manual provided. To receive a certificate of completion some case studies must be done after the training. (Usually, it takes 2-3 months)
Receive Reiki attunement;
Receive a comprehensive manual and certificate of completion.
Access to an online Reiki Resources section of this website, to support your own practice beyond the training day. Your Reiki journey continues beyond the training day and as part of your ongoing support, you’ll have access to:
Reiki meditations and tutorials;
Opportunity to attend a monthy Reiki share group;

You will be learning in a small group of up to 6 people with me, Liz Thomas, a Reiki III (Shinpiden, or ‘Master’ level practitioner). I am working through the Reiki Teacher Training, and this Level 1 training day is offered after the successful completion of my observed Reiki I course.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Cancellations made 7 days or more before the event date will receive a 100% refund. Cancellations made less than 7 days before the event will not receive a refund, but your booking can be used to attend the next available training day.
If the training day is cancelled due to illness or unforeseen exceptional circumstances, it will be rearranged for the next possible equivalent time and day: i.e. [a Saturday, from 10 - 5pm]. If you cannot attend on the rescheduled date, a full refund will be provided. If I need to cancel due to illness or exceptional circumstance I will provide as much notice as possible, by email from the account liz@thehoneybeesanctuary.org.
