Kids’ honey & herbs workshops

17th & 19th Oct 2023 | 1hr 45 workshops

Honey and herbs just go so well together!

I call this workshop ‘Planted’, because your child will feel rooted amid the hum of all the wildlife and the bees at the Honeybee Sanctuary, because we learn from the healing plants in my medicinal herb garden, and because it’s about planting ideas and inspiration in young minds - for strong, connected, healthy minds and bodies.

Come and share in the wonderful world of herbs and honey at the Honeybee Sanctuary, based in our wildlife-friendly garden in North Berwick. I love to see children exploring the natural world and enjoy hosting children’s workshops.

My workshops take inspiration and share knowledge gained on the Herbalism course I am studying at the Scottish School of Herbal Medicine. I am experienced in facilitating children’s workshops through my past role as a SWT (Scottish Wildlife Trust) Wildlife Watch Leader, and in planning and delivering school engagement workshops for landscape design projects.

The workshops are 1hr 45 mins of immersive, hands-on, fun based in our home garden full of herbs and wildlife... whatever the weather! Download and share the Workshop poster to get together a group of buddies.
