Monday 21st April : Coastal Herbalism - kid's workshops
10 - 11:30am / 2 - 3:30pm
A coastal-inspired kids’ herbalism workshop, available at two times, looking at a selection of the seaweeds which can be found locally for making tasty and nutritious herbal remedies with!
During this Spring season, as we wait for the ground to warm up and growing season to really begin in earnest, we will focus on seaweed and make some tasty treats and interesting crafts.
Blend a skin healing cream with KELP, OARWEED and Aloe Vera,
Decorate GUTWEED seaweed biscuits - they’re delicious!
Make a pressed seaweed herbal notebook and plant press.
It would be lovely to see you here to get creative and explore these seaweeds together!
The activities are suitable for children aged 4-11, with a maximum of 10 places available on the workshop. Please book for each child / sibling, to ensure adult: child ratios are maintained. Adults can choose to stay or drop off their child/ren.
