Wintering with Yin Yoga & Herbalism

£25.00

Tamsyn (Yin Yoga with Tamsyn) and I really love planning these seasonally-inspired workshops, blending Yin Yoga and holistic Herbalism!

As we look ahead to the Winter season and the new year, we are delighted to offer a workshop - ‘Wintering’ - in January.

A nurturing, restorative herbalism and yin yoga practice. In mid-winter we can begin to feel depleted, like the batteries are running low, and this workshop looks to suggest ways to lift you gently and restore energy within this Yin season.

Sunday 18. January 2026, 9-11am
Move Yoga, North Berwick

Gift vouchers for this event are available. Please book a place and let me know via email - liz@thehoneybeesanctuary.org - if you’d like a gift voucher, and I’ll be in touch for details and to make arrangements.

Yin Yoga and Herbalism complement each other perfectly: both work intrinsically with the Seasons to support body/mind health and wellbeing.  In Yin Yoga the Winter season is associated with the water element and the colour blue: it signifies a state of calm, hope, protection; and inspires mental control, creativity and clarity. What a wonderful celebration for January.

  • Welcome, with a grounding reflective moment to gather into this space together;

  • Seasonal herbal remedy making, with a focus on adaptogenic and nervine tonic herbs for energy support and nervous system protection;

  • Taste and get to know Skullcap, a nervous system tonic herb and wonderful ally for nervous exhaustion while we’re mindfully remedy making;

  • Yin Yoga practice, a deeply restorative class with all the supportive bolsters and blankets;

  • Closing reflections and suggestions for the Winter season;

  • Notes on the Yin Yoga and Herbalism practices and learnings will be provided.

You can expect a warm welcome and a friendly inclusive group, and the workshop is suitable for complete beginners - you don't need to have any background in Yoga, or Herbalism!

Full details including what to bring will be provided by email nearer the time.
